Sequel 3.6.0 has been released and should be available on the gem
mirrors. The 3.6.0 release adds numerous improvements:
The CakePHP development team is happy to release the alpha build of
CakePHP 1.3.
I have updated the tutorial for Firebird 2.1 Classic and Ubuntu Karmic Koala
Related to this question about how to do the perl driver install on Ubuntu Karmic
There is no php 5.3 in Ubuntu Karmic so we have to compile it with firebird support and pdo (seems that some pdo bugs are fixed in 5.3)
In an effort to increase product stability we are happy to announce the availability of the fourth release candidate for the next release – phpBB 3.0.6.
This fourth release candidate contains mostly regression fixes. Everyone able to should test this release and report critical bugs (those, stopping the operation of the forum) and issues to the bug tracker or directly to the developers.

You can find info about conference at firebird-conference.com. I’ll be speaking there too, hence if you’re interested in Firebird and .NET you should definitely come. Every day I have one session. I’ll be covering new (2.5+) protocol implementation in .NET client for Firebird 2.1, Entity Framework support (also new in 2.5) and finally you’ll see how to create Windows phone (formely PocketPC, …) application and accessing Firebird database.
