it was recently concluded that the original authors have the copyright
on papers that were published at the Firebird Conference, so I decided
to make my paper available to the public.
Some small portion of the text is outdated (based on version 0.4.0),

These are the changes and bug fixes since version 1.4″
Updated snapshots and builds of the Firebird ODBC Driver (V2.0.0129 and V1.3.0093) are available.
This release includes support for SQL Server 2005 and Firebird 1.5.
The Job Scheduler runs executable files, shell scripts, and database procedures automatically (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Firebird, SQL Server, Oracle, and DB2). It processes sequential and parallel tasks and job chains, provides an API for job implementation with Java, Javascript, VBScript, and Perl, and exposes jobs as Web services.
Release focus: Major feature enhancements
Upscene Productions release version 1.4.0 of their dbExpress driver for Firebird: InterXpress for Firebird.
This version includes tested support for BDS 2006 as well as some minor bugfixes and enhancements.

A stable release of the PEAR::MDB2 Firebird/Interbase driver has been released on the official package home: MDB2_Driver_ibase.
PEAR::MDB2 is a merge of the PEAR::DB and Metabase PHP database abstraction layers.

FirebirdClient 2.0 Release Candidate 1 for Microsoft.NET 2.0 is available for download.
This version only bug fixes will be allowed on v2.0 sources.
