I am so happy, I must write somewhere this, after more then a month of complains from a customer I finally solved the problem. He was complaining that my application is getting slower and slower as he uses it. If he exits and start it again it was fast. This was not easily noticeable on faster machines, but on his Pentium 1 was really slow.

A new stable release of the PEAR::MDB2 abstraction layer and of the Firebird/Interbase driver has been released.
PEAR::MDB2 is a merge of the PEAR::DB and Metabase PHP database abstraction layers.
