Donation from FDD attendees to the Firebird Foundation
During the Brazilian 6th Firebird Developers Day on-line subscription process, attendees had the chance to donate money to the Firebird Foundation. Also, in the conference day, people was able to donate any amount of money.
Today, the collected money (USD 1.250) was sent to the Foundation, as can be seen here.

6th FDD – huge success
Nor the global crisis nor the pig influenza was enough to affect the success of the 6th edition of the Firebird Developers Day Conference in Brazil! About 480 people where there, and you can check report (in English) and pictures here.
OpenSQL Camp 2009, European Edition – Call for Papers
If anyone from Firebird community want’s to attend or do some presentations Call for Papers – deadline for submitting talk proposals is July, 19th!
The OpenSQLCamp 2009, European Edition will take part in parallel to the Free and Open Source Conference 2009 (FrOSCon) on Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd August in St. Augustin, Germany. St. Augustin is located close to Bonn and Cologne.
500 folders for FDD!
Last Saturday was the day to assemble the 500 folders that every FDD attendee will receive. Vlad Khorsun and Dmitry Kouzmenko (international speakers) will arrive in São Paulo in the next few minutes. Last time I meet them personaly was in Italy, in the last FB Intl. Conference.
