#Firebird2.1 package is updated in #Ubuntu Maverick Meerkat
The next release of Ubuntu will have an updated package for firebird with one hard to detect bug fixed (the Classic install one)
Firebird core development switched to #SVN (Subversion)
If you check the Firebird-checkins list you can observe that Firebird core development is done using SVN as software version control system.
To check out trunk all you need to do is read the subversion guide at sourceforge and here is how i have done it on my debian machine
svn co https://firebird.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/firebird/firebird/trunk firebird
FbTransaction changes in Firebird #DotNet Provider to support tables locking
Firebird has a feature allowing you to specify tables you want to lock (read or write and exclusive/protected/shared) when starting transaction so now is proper implemented in .net provider snapshots
Firebird 2.5.x and 2.1.x Snapshot builds updated for Windows and Linux
If you want to test recent commits on Linux or Windows you can download from the snapshots area
