TurboCASH 4: Release Candidate1
The TurboCASH Project is proud to present our Release Candidate 1 for TurboCASH 4.0.1.10 This is the culmination of a years preparation to move TurboCASH to a new platform based on the Firebird database.
This release has been prepared to ship to 81 countries. The biggest change we have made here is to open up the the code for the input of a greater number of contributors. The plugin architecture has been widened to include Delphi dlls.
The program sports a revised user interface and improves data accessability. Included now is the Reportman Database reporter. TurboCASH 4 can run from a singel user embedded on a memory stick right up to 50 Plus users.
ZEOSLib 6.6.4 – stable is released
Today we want to officially announce the release of the ZEOS DBO Library 6.6.4 – stable

Michael committed a few things during the last days, fixed bugs and
implemented one or two feature requests. Among them are
- – support for database login with empty password
- – support for trusted user authentication for Firebird 2.1+
- – better support for non-ascii metadata in UTF8 databases
- – support for read-only transactions and different transaction isolation levels in the sql editor form
- – milliseconds precision in the sql editor log
- – user preferences for home key behaviour and auto-indent in the sql editor
and I’d be glad if people found the time to check things out and post
bug reports for stuff that isn’t working. Current snapshot is rev. 1806
on SF.net.

phpBB 3.0.3 Hooray… new features released
We are very pleased to announce the availability of the “Hooray… new features” phpBB 3.0.3 package. This version has seen numerous stability fixes, performance tweaks and general bugs fixed. Apart from some tiny new features, this version also introduces two major new features: template inheritance and a post-based queue.

Morfik releases version 2.0 with Firebird 2.1 bundled
Morfik Technologies released, this week, version 2.0 of its flagship AppsBuilder product. The new release of the web application development tools adds a multitude of visual design oriented features.
In addition to these features, Morfik AppsBuilder 2.0 now includes Firebird 2.1 as its bundled database.
