Last year it was at Linux World Boston where the winners of the Source Forge Community Choice Awards were announced. Among the winners last year were Azureus, eMule, FileZilla, BitTorrent Queue Manager, A PHP Paypal API, WinSCP, phpMyAdmin, WINE, and GAIM. However, voting for the finalists year’s Source Forge Community Choice Awards is now open. Among the finalists for 2007 include phpMyAdmin, Zimbra Collaboration Suite, ScummVM, Audacity, Pidgin, ISP Control Panel, Firebird, Xbox Media Center (XBMC), Tikiwiki, and Webmin. The two new award categories this year are Technical Support and Collaboration. The project winners for the 2007 SourceForge Community Choice Awards will be announced on July 26 at O’Reilly’s OSCON 2007.
