#python 3 firebird driver updated to 0.3.1
Tar.gz package is located in pypy repository .Small changes were made . also I forgot to mention the fixed bugs in the previous release.

First tests in the Amazon’s free Elastic Cloud 2
I have installed from source Firebird 2.5 in the new free (for one year only) micro instances from Amazon
But you can install firebird from tar.gz or rpm (seems that basic linux installed there is based on Centos) after that the sky is the limit : django , ruby , php or why not extjs pascal web servers
Don’t forget about the replication and backups 😉 This seems to be better than google GAE or microsoft hosting: no limits on number of database or number of queries
ps:you can connect securely to firebird by creating a ssh tunnel

I have updated the guide and the repository for Ubuntu Maverick to include the Firebird 3.0 Pre Alpha
This is just the upload from debian experimental is and is really prea alpha (so it’s only intended for testers)
Please report any problems you may encounter. The packages should be installable right away (and automaticly remove any existing firebird2.x ones)

I have updated the guide and the repository for Ubuntu Maverick to include the latest Firebird 2.5 stable
Firebird 3.0 package is uploaded and accepted in #Debian experimental
Firebird 3.0 is now uploaded and accepted into official Debian experimental repository (this is the first upload so things will break also you must backup database from 2.5 and restore into 3.0)
