The new download stats interface from sourceforge.net geeknet shows what are the countries from where firebird is most downloaded and what operating system is used to download it and the most unexpected thing is that Linux is in the Top
You can compare the stats with flamerobin ones

Windows will be at the top, if you get a bigger time period.

yes now i see it but trends are alarming for windows
and we don’t count the debian/ubuntu install stats

Argentina is the second, it´s weird (possible, but I’m from Argentina and I don’t know about a developer community so big). Brazil have it, for sure, but here?

These stats are a non sense
see for example the downloads stats for firebird win 64

Why say it’s a nonsense? Someone could have downloaded it from a Linux PC or a Mac to use it either in a emulated environment for testing purposes or on another PC…
